No ads found on Samsung smartphones

Samsung has removed ads from its smartphones. This is reported by the TizenHelp edition.

The journalists checked the brand's smartphones after the actual update and did not find any embedded ad units in them. The authors cite technical support from a Korean corporation, whose employees have confirmed that in-app advertising has become unavailable since October 1.

According to experts, earlier in the built-in applications of the Samsung ecosystem on phones, you could find ads. Ad units could bring additional profit to the company from each device. “Users paid more than $ 2,000 to buy the device and receive uninterrupted ad-free services,” the authors said, noting that ads appeared in even the most expensive Samsung flagships.

Some users, referred to by journalists, noted the speed of the system after the upgrade. Previously, ad units appeared in programs such as Samsung Pay and Samsung Health – the ad units could be displayed at the top and bottom of the screen.

In August, Samsung representatives announced that in-app ads would disappear from the brand's smartphones. “We will do our best to provide the information customers need through search and recommendations in the content service or the Galaxy store,” said Tae Moon Roh (TM Roh), President and Head of Mobile Samsung.
