Nine killed in Afghan special forces helicopter crash

In the central part of Afghanistan, a special forces helicopter crashed, killing nine people who were on board the rotorcraft, Reuters reports with reference to the country's Ministry of Defense.

“An Mi-17 helicopter crashed last night in the Behsud district of Wardak province. As a result of the incident, nine representatives of the security forces were killed, ”the military department said.

Currently, the Ministry of Defense is investigating the cause of the incident. At the same time, local media write that the helicopter was shot down by militants loyal to the commander of the militia Alipur.

Earlier it was reported that an explosion in a bus thundered in Kabul, as a result of the incident, two people were killed, another 11 were injured.
