The authorities also limited the work of sports complexes to 9 pm, at sports events the number of people present should not exceed 10 percent of the total number of seats.

Health authorities have tightened measures in connection with the spread of coronavirus infection. More than 300 new infections have been reported in the past five days.

On November 20, a spokesman for the Ministry of Health and Welfare, Yoon Tae Ho, announced that the third wave of coronavirus had begun in Seoul. He noted that the authorities are considering raising the level of social distancing. Then, company executives were urged not to hold joint events after work and to increase the number of employees working remotely. Citizens over 60 are advised to minimize walks and meetings in winter.
