This was reported by the local newspaper Vanguard, citing the head of the presidential task force on the fight against coronavirus, the secretary of the government of Nigeria Bossa Mustafu.

– The disclosure of information that Nigerian scientists have developed at least two local vaccines for COVID-19, awaiting clinical trials and certification, is of great importance, the newspaper quoted Mustafa as saying.

He called on all relevant agencies to create an enabling environment for the certification of Nigerian drugs.
