There are currently many product recalls in the food industry. A French letter with the brand “Every Day” is now affected.

A warning was given on Wednesday about some “Landliebe” brand puddings, and on Thursday the product “Le Brie – Chêne d'argent”, which was sold at Lidl, was recalled. Another type of cheese is now affected by a recall.

“The Zentrale Handelsgesellschaft – ZHG – mbH is recalling the article” Every day “French Brie 200g for reasons of preventive consumer protection. As part of a routine control, Listeria monocytogenes was detected in samples,” it says in an outside statement.

Consumption of the French sweetbread of the brand “Jeden Tag” with the best before date 12.12.2020 can lead to flu-like symptoms such as fever, muscle pain and, under certain circumstances, diarrhea and vomiting after consumption. Customers who have consumed the named product and suffer from the symptoms described are asked to contact their doctor.

In particular, pregnant women, young children and people with a weakened immune system can cause serious illnesses as a result of consumption. Pregnant women should contact a doctor after consuming the affected product even without symptoms.

The affected products were immediately removed from the inventory. Customers who have already bought an affected product should dispose of it or bring it back to the store. The purchase price will of course be reimbursed, even without a receipt.

The Zentrale Handelsgesellschaft – ZHG – mbH very much regrets the inconvenience associated with the recall.
