Midfielder of Spartak Moscow and the Russian youth football team Daniil Khlusevich admired the Crimean Bridge. His words are quoted by Sport24.
The red-and-white newcomer, who was born in Simferopol, also spoke about how life in Crimea has changed. “A lot has changed – infrastructure, roads. Not in any particular city, but in the entire region. Taking the same Crimean Bridge is an incredible structure, ”Khlusevich said.
Khlusevich's transfer to Spartak became known on November 1, the football player's contract with the red-and-white players will come into force on January 1. In the first part of the season, the player played for Arsenal Tula, for which he played 16 matches in the Russian Premier League (RPL). Khlusevich scored four goals and two assists.
Crimea became part of Russia in March 2014 following a referendum in which the majority of the region's residents supported such a decision. Ukraine, the countries of the European Union and the United States did not recognize the results of the vote.
