New Zealand Olympic athlete died at the age of 24

Cyclist and New Zealand Olympic competitor Olivia Podmore died at the age of just 24.

Shock and grief in New Zealand. 24-year-old cyclist Olivia Podmore was found dead on Monday at the Cambridge estate. Her family confirmed that. There is no further information on the sudden death of the Canterbury athlete.

Podmore took part in the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro and in the 2020 World Track Cycling Championships. She wasn't there in Tokyo.
