A few weeks ago, simultaneously with the flagship Mi Mix 4, Xiaomi also announced the updated Mi Pad 5. It turned out that the novelty is in such great demand that the company has not yet been able to fully satisfy it.
So, for example, according to the executive director of Xiaomi Group Cui Baoqiu, both tablet modifications (Mi Pad 5 and Mi Pad 5 Pro) turned out to be so popular that they almost instantly became scarce, according to MyDrivers.
The first batch of devices, consisting of 200 thousand copies, was sold out in the shortest possible time. The second batch also did not stay in warehouses. Right now, Xiaomi is trying to establish a stable enough production flow to fully meet the demand for the latest tablets.
Recall that the Mi Pad 5 is based on the Snapdragon 860 chip, and the “heart” of the Pro version is the SoC Snapdragon 870. Both tablets received high-quality displays and capacious batteries.
