New Windows 11 will be available for PC users from October 5
Users of computers running Windows 10 will be able to upgrade to Windows 11 from October 5 for free. The National News Service reports this with reference to the press service of Microsoft.
At the same time, support for the new operating system on compatible devices will be provided by mid-2022. At this time, the ability to work with Android OS applications should appear, which was announced as one of the main features of the system. This feature will begin testing in the coming months.
It is noted that Windows 11 differs from the previous version with a simplified interface, an updated Windows Store, as well as improved performance and multitasking. Among other things, the use of the system by people with disabilities has been simplified.
Recall, on June 24, an online presentation of Windows 11 took place. Then the developers announced that the new operating system will receive expanded support for two or more monitors, as well as widgets for the desktop, through which quick access to various services will be possible.
