As explained by the head of the Central Operations Center, Defense Forces officer Andrey Kovalenko, in fact, several reliable defense lines have been built in the Kharkov region. He noted that such lines could not be erected in a zone where active hostilities are currently taking place, since this territory is located in close proximity to the border and is under fire from the enemy.

Manifestations of IPSO around the Kharkov region
CPD notes that the manipulations around fortifications in the Kharkov region are a continuation of the Russian IPSO to discredit the military leadership of Ukraine in order to provoke a split between the local and central authorities, spread panic and cause a drop in the morale of the Ukrainian Armed Forces units.
It is noted that the situation in the Kharkov region has worsened significantly, however, while fighting is taking place exclusively in the border area, the Ukrainian Defense Forces are doing everything to maintain defensive lines and positions.
