The championship goes to Singapore. It has reclaimed its title as the world's strongest passport. Singapore citizens can visit 195 of 227 destinations around the world without a visa.

France, Germany, Italy, Japan and Spain fell to overall second place, each country has visa-free access to 192 destinations.

In third place are seven countries, each of which has access to 191 destinations without a prior visa – Austria, Ireland, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Finland, Sweden and South Korea.

Experts note that the UAE is in the top ten of the ranking for the first time. The United Arab Emirates has added 152 countries since the Index's inception in 2006.

“The UAE has achieved its current visa-free ranking of 185 countries, moving up from 62nd to 9th place.” – says the results of the study.

Ukraine moved up 23 positions, namely from 53rd to 30th place. Ukrainians can visit 148 destinations without a prior visa.

But the aggressor country Russia has dropped by 7 positions over the past 10 years, namely from 38th to 45th place. And now has visa-free access to only 116 destinations.

The biggest drop over the last decade was demonstrated by Venezuela, which dropped 17 positions from 25th to 42nd place in the Henley Passport Index.

And the last place in the ranking was taken by the weakest passport of Afghanistan. The document lost access to one more destination in the last six months, leaving its citizens with visa-free access to only 26 countries – the lowest number in the 19-year history of the index.

We would like to remind you that passport processing for Ukrainians has been resumed abroad. From July 24, separate foreign branches of the State Enterprise “Document” began accepting applications for registration of passport documents for men of military age.
