New Orleans left without electricity due to Hurricane Ida

The American city of New Orleans in Louisiana was left without electricity due to Hurricane Ida.

“Electricity in the city is generated only by generators,” the city's NOLA Ready tweeted.

Earlier it was reported that Hurricane Ida, which struck the American state of Louisiana, weakened to the first category.

At least one person died as a result of the disaster.
