Mass graves of people who were likely exterminated by the regime were discovered in the Syrian Aleppo province near the village of Naqqarin Bashar al-Assad.

The Syrian news agency SANA reported this, TRT Haber reports.

The report indicates that the remains of 1,500 people found at the burial site belonged to civilians who became victims of the Bashar al-Assad regime.

This grave was discovered by the police, who have been conducting checks throughout the country since the overthrow of the Assad regime.

Currently, searches are underway in the country for other mass graves of victims of the Assad regime.
