In the course of studying this fact, it became clear that the first symptoms of this kind of complications after coronavirus are numbness in the feet and hands. This is accompanied by muscle weakness, pain, and coordination problems. All these signs were found by doctors in study participants who had undergone a coronavirus in both mild and severe forms.

By definition, Guillain-Barré syndrome is an acute autoimmune inflammatory polyradiculoneuropathy. It manifests itself in the form of flaccid paresis, sensitivity disorders, autonomic disorders. It was first described by French doctors Georges Guillain and Jean Barre in 1916.
