Apple will unveil three new devices at its November event. This was reported by Bloomberg, citing sources.
According to IT specialist Mark Gurman, at its November 10 launch event, Apple will unveil three computers – a 13-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro and a 13-inch MacBook Air. Information about new devices was confirmed by sources in production. In particular, Foxconn, which produces the iPhone, received an order for the production of two models of 13-inch laptops, Taiwan's Quanta Computer Inc. will assemble a 16-inch MacBook Pro for Apple.
The gourmet also managed to find out details about the new computers of the American corporation. According to him, the new models will differ from the current ones only by the absence of an Intel processor in favor of the Apple Silicon chip, the design of laptops will not receive major changes.
The specialist noted that Apple only holds 10 percent of the computer market, so refusing to cooperate with Intel will not directly harm the processor manufacturer. “However, this change underscores the crisis that has gripped the world's largest chip maker,” said Mark Gurman.
Apple announced laptops with its own processors and announced the phase-out of Intel chips at WWDC 2020 on June 22. The company representatives clarified that Apple Silicon processors provide better performance, energy efficiency, compatibility with the rest of the hardware and software. Apple's third presentation in the fall will take place on November 10.
