American Spencer Elden, whose childhood photo was published on the cover of Nirvana's Nevermind album in 1991, has sued the band.

According to TMZ, he accuses the group of “child sexual exploitation.”

Elden has filed a lawsuit against a number of defendants, including band members Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic, the heirs of late band leader Kurt Cobain, his widow Courtney Love and the cover photographer.

The lawsuit alleges that a nude photograph of the four-month-old was used by the group members for commercial purposes.

Elden claims compensation in the amount of $ 150 thousand from each of the defendants in the lawsuit.

It is noted that Nirvana's entourage did not comment on the filing of the lawsuit.

Earlier it was reported that Cobain's cardigan, which he wore at MTV's Unplugged concert in November 1993, was sold at auction.
