Netherlands to introduce additional measures to combat COVID-19 – media
The Netherlands wants to introduce additional measures to combat the spread of COVID-19, the Netherlands Broadcasting Corporation reports.
A press conference will be held on this Wednesday. At the same time, it is not specified which measures are in question, however, experts believe that we are talking about a curfew, the introduction of which has been actively discussed in the past few days.
Most likely, this measure will come into force on Friday, and the curfew itself will operate from 20 to 04 hours local time (from 22:00 to 06:00 Moscow time). During this period, it will not be possible to be on the street without good reason, which includes returning home from work.
Earlier, Sweden introduced a fine for violating antiquated restrictions in the amount of 2 thousand kroons (197 euros). It was clarified that the interim law is in effect from January 10 to the end of September 2021.
Meanwhile, Finland is planning to introduce new restrictions on entry into the country. The current restrictions are calculated until February 9.
