The Israeli Prime Minister said his country would comply with the ceasefire agreement with Hezbollah.
If Hezbollah militants violate the terms of the ceasefire, Israel will respond with retaliatory strikes.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said this, according to The Times of Israel.
“If Hezbollah violates the deal and tries to rearm, we will strike. If it tries to rebuild terrorist infrastructure near the border, we will attack. If it fires a rocket, if it digs a tunnel, if it brings a truck with rockets, we will attack,” Netanyahu emphasized.
In addition, the Israeli prime minister said that his country will comply with the ceasefire agreement with Hezbollah. Netanyahu said he would submit a ceasefire proposal for Lebanon to the full Cabinet for final approval, noting that the length of the ceasefire would “depend on what happens in Lebanon.”
He added that Israel agreed to the ceasefire in order to focus on the Iranian threat, give troops a chance to rest and replenish their weapons, and to isolate Hamas militants, who “will be left alone on the battlefield” and “will be under great pressure.”
Recall that it was previously reported that Israel and Hezbollah reached a ceasefire agreement.
In addition, we previously reported that Biden makes statement regarding ISS arrest warrants for Netanyahu and Galant.
