To date, there are no signs that Russia will launch a full-scale attack on Ukraine in the coming days.

This was stated in a commentary to journalists by NSDC Secretary Alexei Danilov after a closed meeting with the participation of people's deputies.

The Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council assured that the Ukrainian authorities are fully aware of what is happening today on the territory of Ukraine, as well as the existing risks.

“But the situation is absolutely under control. Moreover, today we do not see that a large-scale offensive by the Russian Federation can take place either on the 16th or on the 17th. We don't see it. Are there threats from Russia? They are always there for us as long as they encroach on our territories,” Danilov emphasized.

He assured that the Ukrainian army and the security and defense sector are ready for any challenges.
