Near Kiev – a large-scale fire at the sawmill: the fire covered an area of ​​a thousand “squares”

On Sunday, December 26, a large-scale fire broke out in the buildings of a warehouse and a sawmill in the Kiev region.

According to the press center of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, the incident occurred in the village of Martusovka, Boryspil district.

The fire broke out at 13.26 in the buildings of a sawmill and a warehouse located nearby. The fire spread quickly and covered an area of ​​1000 square meters. M m, – specified in the State Emergency Service.

At 16.10 the rescuers managed to localize the fire. The firefighting continues.

To extinguish involved 40 people and 10 pieces of equipment.

According to preliminary data, there were no casualties or injured as a result of the incident.
