Moscow. September 13. INTERFAX.RU – The Tverskoy Court of Moscow has registered Alexei Navalny's lawsuit against the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation and Roskomnadzor to challenge the decisions and actions of state authorities, the court told Interfax.

“Navalny's claim was submitted to the court on September 13. The date for its consideration has not yet been set,” the court said.

On July 26, Navalny's associates reported that Roskomnadzor had blocked almost 50 sites related to the oppositionist on the territory of the Russian Federation. The department confirmed the blocking to Interfax, referring to the requirement of the Prosecutor General's Office of June 15, according to which these Internet resources “are used for propaganda and the continuation of prohibited extremist activities.”

In the lawsuit, Navalny asks to recognize the actions of Roskomnadzor, as well as this requirement of the Prosecutor General's Office, illegal. In addition, the oppositionist asks the court to oblige the departments to eliminate the violation of his rights and freedoms by withdrawing the indicated notifications and requirements.

The register of sites banned in the Russian Federation includes, in particular, navalny.com, free.navalny.com, fbk.info, the site of the Alliance of Doctors recognized in the Russian Federation as a foreign agent, the sites of Lyubov Sobol, Leonid Volkov, Oleg Stepanov, 39 regional headquarters, and also sites “RosYama” and “RosZhKH”.

Earlier, Roskomnadzor, on the basis of the request of the Prosecutor General's Office of June 15, demanded that Apple and Google remove the Navalny application from their App Store and Google Play services, since it is used to promote the activities of the Anti-Corruption Fund, which is recognized as an extremist organization and is country.
