NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg announced this on the Face The Nation program, writes CBS.

“What is important to me is that all allies agreed with the fact that we need to do more for Ukraine, both through the new training and assistance that NATO will provide to Ukraine, and through long-term commitments. And I also expect that before the summit, which begins next week, the members of the Alliance will make new ones. announcements about strengthening air defense and ammunition,” he noted.

In addition, Stoltenberg announced that new initiatives on the security of aid to Ukraine will be announced at the summit. In particular, we are talking about creating a logistics center in Germany, where equipment for training the Armed Forces of Ukraine is stored.

“We are making important decisions to strengthen our support to Ukraine, and NATO will take over the provision and coordination of security assistance to Ukraine. We will establish a command in Germany and with logistics centers in the east part of the Alliance, to help overcome the dominance of technology, as well as training for Ukrainian forces. And this is a big and important result of the summit to provide a stronger foundation for how we support Ukraine,” he concluded.
