NATO exercise Steadfast Noon lasts about a week and is held annually. The exercise involves fighter jets capable of carrying nuclear weapons, but no military weapons are used in the exercise.

“This is a regular training event that takes place every October,” said Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg. “This year’s training will pass over Italy, Croatia and the Mediterranean Sea. In addition, we previously reported that the US Department of Defense reported that Iran has enough resources to create a nuclear weapon in less than two weeks.
