A US Air Force (Air Force) reconnaissance aircraft has been spotted near the Russian-Ukrainian border. This is evidenced by data from the aviation monitoring website Flightradar.

A NATO Boeing E-8C reconnaissance aircraft approached the Russian-Ukrainian border. Based on the travel map, it took off from Ramstein Air Force Base, crossed European airspace, flew over Central Ukraine and is now on a reconnaissance mission south of Kharkov.

The modification of this aircraft involves the implementation of combat control and target designation tasks. In peacetime, it is capable of tracking ground targets. Previously, this aircraft was not used to perform such flights on the territory of Ukraine.

On the same day, a US Air Force reconnaissance aircraft RC-135W was seen in the sky near the borders of Donbass. Previously, this type of American reconnaissance aircraft has already been repeatedly noticed in the southeastern part of Ukraine and the Black Sea region.

On December 23, a reconnaissance flight was carried out by a Boeing RC-135W Rivet Joint electronic reconnaissance aircraft of the Royal Air Force of Great Britain. He entered the Black Sea region and began monitoring the activity of the Russian Armed Forces in the Crimea and the Black Sea.
