NATO does not see a deliberate attack by Russia after the discovery of drone debris in Romania.
NATO amid fragments of Russian aircraft discovered in Romania drone stated that they had no information about a “deliberate attack” on Alliance territory.
This was stated by a representative of the Alliance, writes Sky News.
The official noted that against the backdrop of Russian attacks against Ukraine near its borders, NATO has in recent days strengthened monitoring and surveillance measures, in particular air patrols.
“While NATO has no information indicating a deliberate Russian attack on Alliance territory, these actions are irresponsible and potentially dangerous,” the comment says.
Recall that the remains of a drone were found on the territory of Romania on July 25 after another attack in Ukraine. The Romanian authorities have informed the allies about this and are coordinating their actions with them on this issue.
