The summit is to be held June 29-30 in Madrid.
NATO said that the Alliance has not yet made a final decision on inviting Ukraine and Georgia to the June summit in Madrid.
This was stated by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg at a briefing in Brussels on Tuesday, February 15.
“NATO has not yet decided whether we will invite the leaders of Ukraine and Georgia to Madrid for the June summit of the alliance. It is too early to talk about the possible formats of the summit in Madrid,” he said, answering questions.
Recall that earlier Jens Stoltenberg in an interview with the Spanish newspaper La Vanguardia said that allegedly NATO supported the proposal to invite Ukraine and Georgia to the summer summit.
