US State Department: NATO is ready to start meaningful dialogue with Russia

NATO officials are ready to embark on a meaningful dialogue with Russia. This was stated by the US State Department, reports TASS.
US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg discussed future contacts with Russia in a telephone conversation. It is specified that the members of the North Atlantic Alliance are unanimous in their opinion on the issue of “containing aggression against Ukraine.”
“Secretary of State Blinken spoke with NATO Secretary General Stoltenberg today about the forthcoming interaction with the Russian Federation within the framework of the Russia-NATO Council and the dialogue on strategic stability between the United States and the Russian Federation. The Alliance is ready for a meaningful dialogue with Russia and at the same time is united in the issue of containing further aggression against Ukraine, ”the ministry said.
Earlier, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken discussed the containment of Russia's “aggression” against Ukraine with the Foreign Ministers of Great Britain, Germany and France – Elizabeth Truss, Annalena Berbock and Jean-Yves Le Drian. During the conversation, the foreign ministers confirmed their readiness to collect a high price from the Russian Federation if the plans attributed to it are implemented.
