The next summit will develop practical cooperation within the framework of "flagship projects" on Ukraine.
At the upcoming summit in the United States NATO is planned to be discussed with South Korea on ways to build practical cooperation to provide assistance to Ukraine.
NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg stated this, reports UNIAN.
He said that inviting countries such as South Korea, Japan, Australia and New Zealand to the NATO summit, which will be held July 9-11 in Washington, will help expand the Alliance's partnership with countries in the Indo-Pacific region .
“Iran and North Korea are fueling Russia's war with drones and missiles. China is supporting the Russian war economy, supplying microelectronics and other dual-use goods for the Russian war. The closer the authoritarian players are to each other, the more important it is that we have worked more closely with our friends in the Indo-Pacific,” he said.
NATO Secretary General noted that the next summit will develop practical cooperation within the framework of “flagship projects” regarding Ukraine, as well as cyberspace and new technologies. NATO also intends to discuss defense industrial cooperation with South Korea.
“The flagship project is partly about the medical education of Ukrainian soldiers,” he said, adding that NATO is also exploring opportunities to expand intelligence sharing with South Korea.
Recall that it was previously reported that Stoltenberg hopes for Ukraine's membership in NATO until 2034.
In addition, we previously informed that Zelensky responded, as evidenced by Ukraine’s invitation to NATO for Putin.
