An asteroid the size of a stadium will approach Earth on February 8. This was reported by NASA.

The 150-meter space object 2007 UY1 will fly past the planet at a distance of more than five million kilometers. This is approximately equal to 14 distances from the Earth to the Moon.

It is clarified that there is no threat of an asteroid collision with the Earth.

On February 5, NASA warned about the passage of the potentially dangerous asteroid 2001 CB21 near Earth. According to the calculations of the aerospace Agency, a body four times higher than the Eiffel Tower will fly near the planet around 11:00 Moscow time on March 4.
