NASA has updated flight rules for space tourists

NASA has updated the rules for flights to the International Space Station (ISS) for space tourists. Now they will have to pay a lot more.

NASA said the new prices reflect the true cost of supporting such missions. The National Authority used to charge $ 11,250 per person per day on the ISS to pay for life support at the station and toilet. Tourists were also required to pay $ 22,500 a day for other crew supplies, including food and air.

Now a private astronaut has to pay $ 5.2 million for the work of the ISS crew to service his flight, as well as $ 4.8 million for mission planning. For meals on the ISS, tourists will be charged $ 2,000 per day.
