The American space agency NASA has reported significant successes on its new lunar mission. The company's specialists have assembled the first of their rockets that will take part in sending people to the moon.
We are talking about one of the most powerful spacecraft, which is part of the Space Launch System (SLS) series. The BBC writes that NASA plans to send SLS on its maiden flight as early as 2021. However, this test launch will take place without human participation.
If everything goes according to plan, then people will go to Earth's satellite as early as 2023.
As a reminder, the SLS consists of a large-scale main stage with fuel tanks and four powerful engines. At the same time, he will also have two 54-meter solid-propellant rocket boosters at once.
According to the available data, it is in them that most of the thrust is “laid”.
