NASA called the launch of “Soyuz MS-19” with “cinema crew” flawless
The launch of the Soyuz-2.1a carrier rocket with the Soyuz MS-19 spacecraft, made on Tuesday from the Baikonur cosmodrome, was flawless, according to the NASA Mission Control Center in Houston.
“It was an impeccable take-off, everything went smoothly,” TASS quotes the words of experts.
The start took place at 11:55 Moscow time. On board the ship are Russian cosmonaut Anton Shkaplerov, actress Yulia Peresild and director Klim Shipenko. It was later reported that the Soyuz MS-19 with three members flew to the ISS and docked to the Rassvet module. In orbit Peresild and Shipenko will shoot the feature film “Challenge”. The actress and director will return to earth on October 17.
