Marat Saraev, candidate of medical sciences, head of the expert center for addictology “Independent View”, named ways to cope with alcohol poisoning in the form of “helicopters”. His words are reported by “Moscow Says”.
The narcologist said that in case of dizziness after alcohol, you need to clear your stomach, drink sweet black tea and try to sleep. “In this case, the situation will change, the person should relax and fall asleep, then everything will pass. However, as a rule, until the body evacuates all intoxicants from the intestines and stomach, this will not happen, ”he said.
Saraev explained that “helicopters” appear due to the effects of alcohol on the cerebellum and pancreas, as well as due to low blood pressure. “The so-called helicopters are associated with the growing evacuation potential of the body. The body resists the amount of alcohol in the stomach and intestines. He tries to evacuate him, the pancreas begins to produce certain pepsins, which stimulate the gag reflex. At this moment, dizziness occurs, ”he said.
Earlier, the president of the Independent Narcological Guild, an expert of the Public Chamber, a narcologist Ruslan Isaev gave advice on drinking alcohol on New Year's Eve. According to him, one should refrain from strong alcoholic beverages such as vodka, cognac and others.
