Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor of the FMBA of Russia, doctor of personalized medicine, nutritionist Margarita Koroleva told how to avoid overeating on New Year's Eve. In her opinion, for this it is necessary to celebrate the holiday with a feeling of satiety, reports TASS.
The Queen said it was bad to be hungry on December 31st. She urged the Russians to sit down at the New Year's table well-fed. The nutritionist called this condition a way to avoid overeating on New Year's, since it will be easier for people to control their eating behavior.
If a person is starving on New Year's Eve and eats a lot at the festive table, then he creates a significant load on the gastrointestinal tract. Therefore, during December 31, it is necessary to observe breakfast, lunch and not late, rather dense dinner. It should include both protein and plant fiber.
The specialist advised to choose for the New Year dishes from poultry or fish, as well as vegetables and citrus fruits. In her opinion, one should not abuse champagne during the holiday.
“After the chimes, you can make a choice in favor of red or white wine, but choose exactly one drink for yourself, which you will use throughout New Year's Eve,” she concluded.
Earlier, the Queen listed the dishes for the Lenten New Year's table. She advised replacing meat ingredients with fish and vegetable ingredients.
