Name of the first female astronaut in the Arab world
UAE citizen Nura al-Matrush became the first female astronaut in the Arab world.
As the head of the government of the United Arab Emirates Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum said on Twitter, Mohammed al-Mullah will become her partner.
Two Arab astronauts have been selected from 4,000 applicants. Soon they will start training at NASA.
We add that the only female cosmonaut in the Roscosmos detachment since 2016, Anna Kikina, previously became the prototype of the new Barbie doll.
