According to journalists, the last time Shoigu appeared in Russian news on March 11, during a meeting with his Turkish counterpart Hulusi Akmar.
On the same Day of the Ministry of Defense talked about Shoigu's visit to the Mandrik Central Military Clinical Hospital – where the minister presented awards to Russian occupiers who participated in hostilities in Ukraine.
Later, on March 18, a message appeared on the Kremlin website that Shoigu participated in a meeting of permanent members of the Security Council with Vladimir Putin, but photos and videos from this meeting were not published.
According to media reports, until March 11 news with Shoigu's participation was published almost every day.
Recall, Putin stopped listening to the opinion of his special services due to the failure in the war in Ukraine.
