Zelenka was put on the wanted list because after he dropped his daughter off at school, he stopped communicating and disappeared.
The chairman of the board of directors of the credit union Podnikatelská družstevní záložna Robert Zelenko was found dead in Prague. The union was involved in the case of a contract for the supply of 100 thousand mines to the Ukrainian military. And cooperation was supposed to take place between the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense and the Lviv Arsenal company.
The publication Censor.net writes about this.
As noted, Zelenka’s body was discovered on June 8th. The day before, he was put on the wanted list because after dropping his daughter off at school, he stopped communicating and disappeared.
“Given that the disappeared person has recently had psychological problems and anxiety states, it is possible that his life is in danger,” the police reported.
At first, reports from law enforcement officers said that the man “probably committed suicide.” However, the statement was subsequently edited “out of respect for the family of the deceased,” and the mention of suicide was removed.
At the same time, on October 10 last year, the Lvov Arsenal signed a contract with the Ministry of Defense, according to which it was supposed to supply mortar rounds of 120 mm and 82 mm caliber.
“The company received an advance payment of 97% under the obligation to deliver weapons to Ukraine in two months. The funds were paid, they were sent through several companies – first through the Slovak company “Sevotech”, then the Croatian “WDG Promet”, but the weapons were never delivered. But it turned out that the Croatian company bought an abandoned premises in Bosnia for money identical to that received from the Ministry of Defense. At the same time, about 4 million euros were cashed out during the first transactions,” the publication writes. < /p>
Already in the spring of this year, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine filed a claim with the economic court to recover 1.3 million hryvnia in advance payment from the Lviv Arsenal. But in the winter this money was withdrawn. After which the head of the Department of Military-Technical Policy of the Ministry of Defense, Alexander Liev, was detained.
“Despite the fact that the investigation was conducted by the National Police, they applied to the Supreme Anti-corruption Court for permission to arrest. Then the case itself was referred to NABU. The Anticorruption Bureau honored her and returned her to the National Police. Liev is currently at large. Consider it forgotten about the Lvov Arsenal case. And here is death in the Czech Republic,” the publication writes.
However, Zelenka’s death in the context of these events looks quite ambiguous. For their part, the Prague police said that “the man was found without signs of life.” Law enforcement officers came to the conclusion that it seemed to be suicide.
“Another person’s guilt is excluded,” said law enforcement officers.
Recall that in Prague tens of thousands of people gathered for a rally to support Ukraine.
