I grew up in a religious family without a father
Artemiy Yuryevich Ryabchuk was born in 2001. The boy spent his childhood in the village of Broska, Izmail district Odessa region.
In addition to Artyom, his parents raised his older sister Yulia. Now she is 28 years old, she lives in the territory of the Russian Federation.
The family’s fellow villagers say that they had no radio or TV at home, and this was due to their religious views. The mother took her son to one of the Protestant churches every week.
According to the adviser to the Minister of Internal Affairs Anton Gerashchenko, the guy lost his father early. According to preliminary information, the man died after a long illness about five to six years ago.
Artem’s mother has been baking and selling cakes for many years. The 54-year-old woman brought up her son properly, and so far the guy has not had any problems with the law.
Study and three months of service
After graduating from the ninth grade of school, Artemiy studied at the Izmail Agrarian and Technical College.
The director of the college reminds that during his studies the guy did not show much activity in student life.
– Perhaps it’s because of his religious views, but I didn’t notice any social activity behind him. However, sometimes he played as part of the football team of his group,” the teacher said.
Over time, Artem got a job as a storekeeper at one of the distribution companies in the city. Since there is not much to pay, the young man decided to join the army.
At the end of October, he volunteered to serve in the ranks of the National Guard. This information was confirmed to journalists by the Facts of ICTV by the headman of the village of Broski, where Artemiy lived.
– He came himself, asked to voluntarily join the army, as far as I know. You yourself understand how difficult it is to find a normal job if there is no military ID. He passed a medical examination and in November he was sent to the army–” she recalls.
The 21-year-old served in the National Guard for only three months. Military service was not easy for Artem: the soldier often found himself in conflict situations with colleagues.
The very rejection of the guy in the military unit is one of the versions voiced in the State Bureau of Investigation.
