Ian Bremmer, an American political scientist and founder of the consulting company Eurasia Group, said that Musk himself confessed to him about Putin's readiness “for negotiations.” It is noted that the dictator is ready for negotiations, but only if Crimea remains occupied by the Russian Federation, if Ukraine recognizes Russia's illegal attempt to annex the Lugansk, Donetsk, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. Musk also said that Russia is conducting a partial mobilization, because “Ukraine's victory in a total war is unlikely.” In addition, he wrote that “in the eastern regions, the majority of the population prefers Russia.”
