Roscosmos did not receive a response from American entrepreneurs Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos to attend the launch of the Soyuz MS-19 manned transport spacecraft, scheduled for October 5 from the Baikonur cosmodrome. This is reported by TASS with reference to the state corporation.
In addition, entrepreneur Richard Branson was also invited to the launch, and no response was received from him either, said in Roscosmos.
At the end of August, Roscosmos CEO Dmitry Rogozin announced his intention to invite American entrepreneurs Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos to the Baikonur cosmodrome. Rogozin also allowed Mask's invitation to the Vostochny cosmodrome after the completion of the construction of the second stage.
The launch of the Soyuz MS-19 manned transport spacecraft is scheduled for October 5. The spacecraft will send cosmonaut Anton Shkaplerov and the crew of the Russian film, tentatively titled “Challenge”, to the ISS.
