Muscovites with ARVI will have to take an antigen test for COVID-19 from October

Moscow. September 30th. INTERFAX.RU – In Moscow, patients with acute respiratory viral infections from October 1 will undergo a test for antigen to coronavirus, a positive result will be considered a confirmed case of the disease, the deputy mayor of the city Anastasia Rakova told reporters.

This will allow for a faster diagnosis and initiation of proper treatment, “which is critical in COVID-19,” she said. She noted that along with the antigen test, such patients will undergo PCR testing.
