A jet-black day for the local food industry. Three products had to be recalled within just a few hours.
Only a short time after Landliebe had to call back three types of pudding, two more foods were called back in the afternoon or evening. This applies to amaranth muesli and “I am Austria” breadcrumbs from Kuchen-Peter Backwaren GmbH.
For reasons of preventive consumer protection, Allos Hof-Manufaktur GmbH recalls the following items with the following best-before dates (best before date, it can be found on the back of the packaging):

Other best-before dates or products from Allos Hof-Manufaktur GmbH are not affected.
As part of an investigation, residues of the pesticide ethylene oxide were found in the sesame seeds. Although the sesame seeds contain a maximum of 2.7 percent in the above products, the products are being recalled. We therefore advise against consuming the affected products. Customers who have bought the relevant products can return them to their stores. The purchase price will of course be reimbursed, even without presenting the receipt.
The second affected product is manufactured by Kuchen-Peter Backwaren GmbH. For reasons of precautionary consumer protection, this company is recalling the product “I am Austria” – 500g bread cubes. Because pieces of hard plastic have appeared in the products, we do not recommend consuming the food.
Affected is the product with the best before date 28.02.2021 and the batch number: 0415 and 0416. For safety reasons, the entire inventory of the product, that means all best before dates / batches, has been taken out of sale. Affected products that have already been purchased can now also be returned without a receipt
