On Instagram, Anderson shared a selfie from a hospital in Brisbane two weeks ago, writing: “This is getting too regular now.” It is believed that Anderson had to grapple with a serious illness.
Anderson leaves behind a wife and two children.
He was a great personality in darts. He reached the top 32 players in four world championships. In 2013 he became world famous with a so-called nine-darter – he played a perfect leg in just nine darts against Ian White at the World Cup in Alexandra Palace. He managed a second nine-darter at the 2017 European Championships.
