Motorola has advertised its own technology for air-charging smartphones. She has become more powerful.
Motorola is reported to have teamed up with wireless charger manufacturer GuRu Wireless to create a new solution. It is based on a small transmitter consisting of mmWave modules. Millimeter waves can be used to transfer energy.
It is noted that thanks to the use of mmWave-range in charging and intelligent algorithms, the transmitter and receiver can be reduced in size. In addition, the device can better direct electromagnetic waves. Charging works at a distance of 80-100 cm.
Recall that Motorola first introduced a wireless air charging system in early 2021. Its peculiarity was that the charging process was stopped when a hand or other part of the body was placed between the devices.
