The operation to rescue civilians of Mariupol from the bomb shelter of the theater, which was bombed by Russian aircraft the day before, continues, and there is no final data on the dead or affected.

This was announced on the air of the telethon by the adviser to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Vadim Denisenko.

– There is no final information, but most of the people, apparently, survived. More, unfortunately, there is no information yet. Will wait. I hope that Russian troops will not start bombing again where the rescue operation is underway,” he said.

Earlier, Ombudsman Lyudmila Denisova said that from the bomb shelter of the theater in Mariupol, which turned out to be under the rubble after the March 16 Russian aircraft dropped a heavy-duty bomb on the building, living women and children began to emerge.
