According to the results of a sociological survey, only 13.4% of Russians have a negative attitude towards a military invasion of other EU countries, while 46% of respondents are absolutely sure that Russia should attack 40.6% assume an acceptable expansion of hostilities.
“The overall impression of the survey is that Russians who agreed to communicate with interviewers are aggressive not only towards Ukraine, but also towards the EU . Respondents either refuse to communicate after learning the topic of the interview, or declare their readiness to support and approve further Russian intrusions into other countries,” says Andrey Eremenko, founder of the Active Group research company.
Sociological research conducted through the Viber messenger according to a formatted methodology (the sample is representative of the subject of the federation, the article and the age of the respondent. When compiling questions, the language mandatory for Russia was used. So instead of “invasion” and “war” in the survey, the word “special operation” was used, the Ukrainian security forces were called “Nazis”, etc. Of course, instead of “in Ukraine” it was said “to Ukraine”.
