The Moscow Justice of the Peace ruled to fine the American company Twitter for another five million rubles. This was reported by TASS with reference to the press service of the Tagansky Court of Moscow.

Sanctions befell the company for refusing to delete prohibited information. The decision was made under two administrative protocols under Art. 13.41 Administrative Code (violation of the procedure for restricting access to information).

Taking into account other lawsuits against the company in Moscow, the total amount of the fine was about 45 million rubles.

As the website kp.ru wrote earlier, a similar process against Facebook was completed on the same day. Under five protocols, the company was fined another 21 million rubles. Thus, the owners of the social network have lost a total of more than 90 million rubles in the form of such fines.

We will remind, on August 26, the court fined Twitter 17 million rubles for repeated refusal to localize the personal data of users from Russia.
