Coronavirus in November 2021 became the main or presumably the main cause of death of more than 87 thousand Russian citizens, surpassing the October record. This is evidenced by Rosstat data on the natural movement of the country's population.
The department identifies four groups of deaths of patients with confirmed COVID-19. So, according to Rosstat, in November, coronavirus, presumably, became the main cause of death of 71.1 thousand people. In 8.9 thousand cases, COVID-19 is assumed as the main cause of death, but more medical research is needed.
The number of deaths where COVID-19 was a concomitant disease was 1.4 thousand. In addition, in November, 1.4 thousand deaths of patients were recorded in whom COVID-19 was a concomitant disease, but did not affect their death.
In October, the coronavirus became the main or presumably the main cause of death of 68.7 thousand people. About 6 thousand deaths had COVID-19 with a concomitant disease.
