Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed a decree on the allocation of 1.35 billion rubles from the government reserve fund for bonuses to employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The corresponding document is posted on the official Internet portal of legal information.

According to the text of the order, the Ministry of Internal Affairs must pay allowances to employees “in order to provide material incentives for employees of the internal affairs bodies.” More than a billion rubles for awards will be allocated in 2021. Each employee of the department must be awarded a minimum of two thousand rubles, the document says.

On December 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin appointed a new Deputy Minister of the Interior. According to the decree, this position was taken by Police Lieutenant General Alexander Kravchenko. Previously, he served as head of the Main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Volgograd Region.

On November 25, the former Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, Colonel-General of Police Arkady Gostev, was appointed director of the FSIN by the decree of the President of Russia. He took this position instead of the retired Alexander Kalashnikov.
