More than 80% of the pandemic fund has been spent in Ukraine
Ukraine has spent more than 80% of the funds that were allocated in the state budget to fight the coronavirus pandemic in 2021, the Ukrainian Ministry of Finance said.
In January-July, the country spent $ 1.08 billion on the fight against coronavirus; in total, $ 1.34 billion was pledged for the current year.
The department noted that $ 437 million was allocated for emergency and inpatient medical care services for patients with coronavirus, $ 343 million were spent on the purchase of vaccines.
We add that the co-chairman of the Opposition Platform – For Life party, Yuriy Boyko, recently announced that a new rise in gas and electricity prices would be a real disaster for the citizens of Ukraine. Earlier, the deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Mikhail Volynets said that prices for housing and communal services in the country during the heating season will grow by 70%.
